KAISER-HUGHES PROJECT—Some WPB and Army procurement circles are beginning to ask whether it is advisable to continue construction of the three giant cargo airplanes by the Howard Hughes-Henry Kaiser combination. The question has been raised as to whether men and material should be devoted to these experimental airplanes at a time when these are badly needed for aircraft already developed, tested and proven.
