Farnborough Demonstrates Latest Steps in Air Research

London — Flight demonstrations of English Electric’s P-1, Britain’s long-range supersonic interceptor prototype, highlighted the Golden Jubilee exhibition of the Royal Aircraft Establishment at Farnborough. A combination of static and flying displays gave a small segment of the British public its biggest look into the inner workings of its top research center.

Components & Devices Sub-miniature relay, measuring only 0.656 in. dia. x 1½ in. long, and weighing only 1 oz., comes in DPDT model, with contacts rated 5 amp., resistive load at 28 v. d.c. or 115 v. a.c. Unit, which operates over ambient temperature of —65 to 125C, reportedly meets test requirements of MIL-R-6106A, and has minimum life of 100,000 operations at rated load.
