Twa Sees Marketing Spurred By L-1011

New York—Trans World Airlines is counting on the Lockheed L-1011 to accelerate the marketing momentum that its management believes it has achieved since the introduction of Ambassador Service in November, 1970 (AW&ST Feb. 7, p. 26). The wide-bodied trijet will be folded in with the company’s basic Ambassador marketing and promotion endeavors when it is introduced in commercial service in mid-June, but it will be singled out as providing a step forward in the level of service and comfort.
