Prior to the departure of the aircraft, the flight plan was submitted by the designated representative of Libyan Arab Airlines to Benina Tower/Approach Control, Benghazi. The form is identical to the ICAO flight plan form— it contained one error in that the route showing the reporting points placed Sidi Barrani before the FIR boundary instead of after.
