Plans Proceed for In-Orbit Solar Repair of Spacecraft

Washington—National Aeronautics and Space Administration will proceed with a plan for space shuttle astronauts to make in-orbit repairs to the degraded Solar Maximum spacecraft about October, 1983. The agency already has run into difficulty obtaining approval from Congress to reprogram funds for the repair mission.
