KENNEDY SPACE CENTER NASA has opted to focus on the flight readiness firing of the space shuttle orbiter Discovery’s main engines and to put off a decision on fixing a leak in an orbital maneuvering propellant line until next week. The leak will not affect the firing.

Tbm 700 Aircraft Begins Flight Tests in France

PARIS Flight testing has begun in France with the prototype TBM 700 business/general aviation aircraft, and a full production go-ahead decision for the aircraft is planned before year-end. The TBM 700 made its initial flight as scheduled July 14 from the Aerospatiale Socata facility at Tarbes in southern France.
