ARLINGTON, TEX. The Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor prototype made its first flight last week, ending months of frustrating delays in the development program for the multiservice aircraft. The V-22, developed by the team of Bell Helicopter Textron and Boeing Helicopters, was airborne for a total of 12 min.
