French Order 12 Waterbombers; Canadair Can Begin Production

BOSTON The French government has confirmed an order for 12 production CL-215Ts, which along with one for eight new aircraft from the province of Quebec, will enable Canadair to launch production of the turboprop-powered waterbomber. The French order was confirmed in a letter from Interior Minister Philippe Marchand, who indicated that the contract will be finalized soon.
