North Adams, Mass.—Sprague Electric Co., one of the nation’s largest producers of passive components, is stepping up its efforts to become a major supplier of microcircuitry. Last week Sprague introduced its first entirely in-house developed silicon microcircuits, two very high-speed digital devices with propagation time delays in the 5-nanosec. range and a variable-gain linear amplifier.
