Ridley Park, Pa.—Boeing Vertol Co. is developing major improvement programs on both the CH-46 and CH-47 series medium-lift helicopters, with the goal of extending their service life—and export potential—well into the 1990s. The company has identified a potential for 167 export sales of the CH-47 through 1984.
