British Aerospace Identifies 22-carrier Market Base for Advanced Turboprop
Manchester, England—British Aerospace has identified 22 air carriers it believes will form the core of a worldwide market for its advanced turboprop (ATP) transport in the next few years. The manufacturer believes there will be a total world market of 1,000-1,400 new turboprop aircraft by the end of the century and it expects the ATP, a derivative of the HS. 748, to capture at least 400 of these.
