Daryl Taylor (see photo) has been named vice president-operations and general manager at Airbus Americas’ Mobile, Alabama, plant. After transition training at Airbus assembly facilities in Europe, he will take the reins from Ulrich Weber, who led the construction and commissioning of the plant, Airbus’s first in the U.S. Taylor most recently has been vice president and general manager of two GKN Aerospace facilities in Kansas and California.
