Italian Semirigid Airships Observed at Front
The following story, written by Arthur Halsted, associate electrical engineer in the Bureau of Standards, Washington, D.C., and, during the war, an officer in American Air Service, serving with the Italian forces in the Po Valley, is of unusual interest since it sets forth the advantages of the semi-rigid airship especially in night bombing: Between Oct. 23 and Nov. 15, 1018, inclusive, 1 was at the Italian Front attached to the 202 Squadron of Italian marines.
