St. Louis—wichita and Denver Air Centers
THE NATIONAL Air Races of 1923 which took place, at the then newly opened Lambert-St. Louis flying field, were probably the most successful races ever held and since that time the field has lived up to the precedent established. The Robertson brothers, Frank and William, have been the mainstay of the activities which have made the airport one of the foremost centers of commercial activities in the mid-west.
