According to a cablegram, Capt. George Wilkins and Lieut. Ben Eielson, who flew in their Vega plane from Point Barrow, Alaska, to Spitzbergen, will arrive in New York from Oslo on June 19. A tour of the country in their Lockheed plane is planned by the fliers.

With successful airplane flights being completed every other day now, to all points of the compass, it certainly is hard to keep track of them all and to decide what will be news worthy of comment ten days after it leaves this typewriter. We used to think it was a mighty fine job to be the official welcomer for a city like New York, but we’ve come to the conclusion that it might not be all beer and skittles after all.
