Lockheed, Convair Sign Labor Contracts

Los Angeles—Lockheed Aircraft Corp. and Convair Division of General Dynamics Corp. signed new labor contracts last week, guaranteeing more than a year of peace for the West Coast aircraft industry. The two companies were the last of the big West Coast aircraft builders to negotiate agreements with labor unions (AVIATION WEEK Dec. 20, p. 14).
