Gamma Photons Although agreeing in principle with the observations of A. Machado, Jr. (AW Nov. 25, p. 126), we feel that basically more attention should be paid to his assumption concerning gamma photons. Close to the nuclei of heavier elements (A > 200) where the transformation γ = -1e0 + +1e0 would be effective, the conversion factor ΙΣ0 would produce a different effect on any isotopes (particularly 92U235 +_-1e0 = 91Pa235) as outlined recently (November, 1956) by A. N. Nesmayanov in his paper delivered at Leningrad University.
