Strike Command to Test Air Support Plan

MacDill AFB, Fla.—U. S. Strike Command, a far-ranging organization whose tasks encompass the formulation of joint service doctrine as well as U. S. defense responsibilities in 64 potentially volatile African and Asian states, will begin field evaluation trials this week of a proposed Air Force plan to support forward-area ground forces in a conventional war environment.
