Premature Descent Cited in F-27a Crash

A Bonanza Air Lines, Inc., Fairchild F-27A, N745L, operating as Flight 114 from Phoenix, Ariz., to Las Vegas, Nev., crashed 9.7 mi. from the Las Vegas VORTAC Nov. 15, 1964, at approximately 2025 PST. Twenty-six passengers and three crew members perished in the crash.
