Thunderstick 2 weapons delivery and navigation modification to be retrofitted into the Republic F-105D fighter bomber will give the aging single-seat aircraft a blind bombing capability aided by precise Loran navigation data. Burbank, Calif.—Lockheed has significantly increased the efficiency of meal preparations in the underfloor galley of its L-1011 airbus, according to R. L. Vernon, passenger accommodations manager. The changes include: Repositioning of food and liquor service carts from the center of the 20 x 8-ft. galley to two rows grouped in sequential order of need under wall-mounted oven and freezer cabinets.
