The navigational aids covering the routes followed by the two Spanish aircraft were principally: In the case of Coronado BX 400 on route W187: Bilbao VOR (BLV 115.0 mc.), Nantes VOR (NTS 115.5 mc.) with which a DME was associated (Channel 102), Nantes medium-frequency radio beacon (NTS 277 kc.).

Oakland, Calif.—Availability and cost of a USAF/Lockheed C-5A transport are the critical factors in the upcoming decision as to whether an air cargo experiment called Project Intact will move into its operational phase. Backers of Project Intact, an acronym for “intermodal air cargo test,” hope to initiate commercial cargo flights this fall, thus launching the most intensive effort yet to advance the air cargo industry (Aw&sT Oct. 28, 1974, p. 107; Mar. 25, 1974, p. 24).
