Congress Questions Nasa’s Ability to Fund Mix of Orbital Platforms
WASHINGTON Congress must decide in upcoming Fiscal 1989 budget legislation whether to proceed with NASA’s space station, a leased commercial space platform, use of the Spacehab module or some combination of the three facilities. Members of the House subcommittee on space science and applications last week asked NASA officials to choose among the three in a hearing on the Commercially Developed Space Facility (CDSF).
