BALL DROPS PEGASUS PLAN, SELECTS LOCKHEED LAUNCHER
WASHINGTON Ball Corp. has dropped its plan to use Orbital Sciences Corp.'s Pegasus XL booster to orbit a U. S. Navy satellite early in 1996, opting instead for the yet-to-fly Lockheed LLV1 launch vehicle.
