ARC Unveils Regional Rotorcraft UK startup ARC Aerosystems has unveiled plans to develop a nine-passenger regional rotorcraft, the Linx P9, based on a gyroplane design that was type-certified in Canada and the U.S. in the late 1960s. Plans to develop the Linx for entry into service in 2028 represent a change of direction for the startup, previously called Samad Aerospace, which originally wanted to produce a ducted-fan hybrid-electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing (eVTOL) business aircraft.
