On the occasion of the eclipse of the sun, which takes place on Jan. 24, 1925, the Chief of Air Service has instructed the Commanding Officer of McCook Field, Dayton, Ohio, to cooperate in every possible way with Dr. David Todd, Professor Emeritus of Astronomy and Navigation of Amherst College, in attempting to secure by means of photography from an airplane at high altitude, photographs of this eclipse.
