Improved Suit Proposed for Lunar Wear

Dover, Del.—Improved follow-on to the ILC Industries, Inc., A7L Apollo lunar landing suit has been proposed to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The suit could be flown operationally by the end of the year. Designated A9L by ILC—formerly the International Latex Co. Government and Industrial Div.—the new suit was developed with NASA funds under the ongoing product improvement plan.
