Army Procurement Emphasizes Modification, Retrofit Efforts

Washington—Bulk of Army aircraft procurement funds requested in the Fiscal 1974 budget will be used for modification and retrofit of the existing inventory. The major modification program will center on equipping the Bell AH-1G HueyCobra to use an airborne Army/Hughes TOW anti-tank missile (AW&ST July 17, 1972, p. 17).
