Salute to the Skyhawk

Early this year the last of McDonnell Douglas A-4 Skyhawks rolled out at the Douglas Long Beach, Calif., plant, ending the longest production run in the history of jet combat aircraft—27 years during which 2,930 Skyhawks were produced for the U. S. Navy and Marines and six other nations.
