Range, Speed Balance Mark Cheyenne 3

Kansas City—Piper Aircraft’s Cheyenne 3 offers operators a balance of good range and speed performance, excellent low-altitude handling characteristics and low interior noise levels. Although the range and high-altitude performance of Piper’s largest turboprop could not be evaluated fully here during a local flight that had to be held below positive controlled airspace because of traffic restrictions, I did have the opportunity to observe the Cheyenne 3’s low-level performance and handling characteristics.
