F-16s Deployed to Norway for Environmental Tests

USAF overseas deployment of an operational General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon squadron tested the aircraft’s ability to function effectively in a harsh environment. Twelve aircraft of the 4th Tactical Fighter Sqdn., Hill AFB, Utah, recently completed nearly four weeks of simulated defense missions, operating from Flesland Air Station near Bergen, Norway.
