F-15 Fighter Abilities Evaluated

Eglin AFB, Fla.—Significantly enhanced air-to-ground capabilities of the Air Force/McDonnell Douglas F-15 fighter with little apparent loss in its air-to-air capabilities are being demonstrated here in contractor-funded flight tests aimed at establishing the F-15’s credentials as an effective dual-role fighter/interdiction aircraft.
