St. Louis—Fourth space shuttle mission set for launch June 27 will carry a biological materials processing unit that by 1987 is scheduled to lead to commercial marketing of new medicines unobtainable without the benefit of zero-g. Test patients could be given space-processed drugs by 1984.

Such a buy would have to be linked to new Foreign Military Sales of the OV-10 in order to keep down production restart costs at Rockwell.

Lessons from the British-Argentine conflict in the Falkland Islands are far from clear yet, but one exception is the crucial role of logistics in a battle that could hardly have been fought in a worse place. A point that is pertinent for the U. S. to note at this time is the relatively well-equipped fighter and attack aircraft forces of both sides and the paucity of modernized airlift in either.
