United Technologies, Daimler-Benz Sign Agreement Linking Pratt & Whitney, MTU

NEW YORK United Technologies Corp. and Germany’s Daimler-Benz group have formalized an agreement aimed at linking their Pratt & Whitney and Motorenund Turbinen-Union units. The move creates an alliance that could presage additional ventures and even closer ties between the parent companies in the future.
