U. S., Russia Sign Joint Space Accords

WASHINGTON NASA and the Russian Space Agency have signed agreements for cooperative manned flights and unmanned Mars exploration, setting the stage for a broad base of future joint efforts in the post-Communist era. The manned mission agreements provide for the exchange flights of crewmembers on the Russian Mir space station and the U. S. space shuttle.
