Tests Confirm Low-observability of Comanche Scout Helicopter

WASHINGTON As the RAH-66 Comanche program prepares for its third round of prototype flights, U.S. Army and Boeing/Sikorsky officials revealed that tests of the design show dramatic increases in the scout/reconnaissance helicopter’s projected low-observability compared to current first-line rotary-wing aircraft.

NEW YORK FlightSafety International Inc. will cease to operate as a stand-alone, publicly traded company late this year or in early 1997, when it is expected to become the property of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. FlightSafety, headquartered in New York, is the world’s largest independent training company and manufacturer of computerbased training simulators for the aviation and shipping industry.
