Technical Details of the Dornier X

THE DO.X may be considered a monoplane flying boat having superimposed on the main wing an auxiliary surface bearing housings or gondolas for six pairs of engines in tandem. It is also characterized by relatively short stub wings at either side of the hull, this construction being typical of Dornier practice.
