Washington—Defense Dept. Fiscal 1983 funding requests for major aircraft and missile programs, both in production and research and development, are detailed below, with comparable Fiscal 1982 figures in parenthesis. Air Force Aircraft: ■ Rockwell International B-1B multirole bomber—$4.787 billion ($2.093 billion): $3.868 billion for seven aircraft, $165.4 million for spares and $753.5 million for research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E).
